MAP: your month-by-month action plan
Ask AI "how do I grow my business?" and you get the same advice everyone gets. Give it your real facts, and the plan fits your business.
Hi, I'm Lydie. I teach people to use AI on their real work. Fill in the boxes below. They build the prompt for you, so you don't have to edit anything on your phone.
Good to know: what you type stays on your own phone or computer. It isn't sent to me, and I never see it. You paste the prompt into your own AI account.
Who it's for
Anyone selling something, or about to. A few people it works well for:
- A hairdresser who wants her weekdays full
- A freelance bookkeeper looking for 5 more clients
- A coach with a new $500 package to sell
- A home baker deciding if markets or Instagram bring more orders
- A side hustler with a skill and no first customer yet
- A cleaning company owner who wants more regular contracts
One setting, before you copy
Pick the "thinking" option. The AI takes longer and takes more care with the numbers.
- Claude: in the chat box, open the options menu and turn on Extended thinking.
- ChatGPT: in the model menu at the top, pick a model with Thinking in its name.
Menu names change, so look for the word "thinking". Not on your plan, or can't find it? Paste the prompt anyway. It still works.
Your prompt
Act as my business planner. Here's my real situation: - What I sell and the prices: not sure - Who buys from me: not sure - How people find me now: not sure - My audience: not sure - Hours a week I can work on this: not sure - Money I can invest: not sure - My goal: not sure Give me the easiest realistic path to my goal. Map it month by month. For each month, tell me: 1. which offer to focus on 2. how many sales I need 3. where those buyers will come from Then tell me the 3 biggest risks in this plan, and what I should check first. Ask me questions before you start if anything is unclear.
What happens next
It'll ask you questions first. That's normal. Answer them in a few words. Then you get your plan.
Here's a short piece of what the AI gave back for a made-up dog groomer:
Month 1. Focus: the 4-visit pack ($240). Sales needed: 6 packs. Where they come from: ask your 20 most regular clients in person, and reply to every Google review with an offer. Biggest risk: weekday slots stay empty. Check first: how many weekday slots you filled last month.
Three follow-ups to ask next
Turn month 1 into a to-do list for this week.
Give me 5 post ideas that would bring in the buyers you described.
Which month feels least realistic? Why, and what would you change?
Keep this page
- Save it: bookmark this page, or on your phone tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Run it again every month with your new numbers.
- Check the maths yourself. It's a first draft, not a promise.
- Keep private things out. No client names or bank details.
