Privacy policy

1. What personal information means

Personal information is anything that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you, such as your name or email address.

2. What you give us

We only collect what you type into a form on this site:

• The contact form: your name, work email, company, team size, topic, preferred language, your message, and your time zone, which your browser shares so we can suggest call times.
• The scorecard: your answers, your first name, work email, role, team size and, if you give it, your company or team name.
• The newsletter: your email address.

If you tick a box to get emails, we also keep a record that you agreed, the exact wording you agreed to, and when. Forms tell you which fields are required. Without them, we can't reply or send your results.

3. What is collected automatically

• Server logs: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details when you visit, such as your internet address, browser, device, the pages you open and when.
• Spam protection: when you send a form, we keep a scrambled code made from your internet address for one day. It can't be turned back into the address.
• Cookies: we don't use tracking or advertising cookies. After you finish the scorecard, your browser keeps your details for that tab only, so the contact form can fill itself in. It's forgotten when you close the tab.

4. Other websites

Booking a call takes you to Cal.com, and our LinkedIn link takes you to LinkedIn. Those sites collect information under their own privacy policies, which we don't control.

5. How we use it

To reply to you, send your scorecard results, prepare for a call, deliver services to clients, keep the site secure and free of spam, meet our legal obligations and, only if you agreed, send you guides and tips by email.

We don't use your information to train AI models, and we don't put it into AI tools without your agreement. Our AI use policy explains how we use AI.

6. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with:

• Companies that help run the site: Vercel hosts the website, Supabase stores form submissions, Resend sends the site's emails, Cal.com handles bookings, and Google Workspace holds our email. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
• Professional advisers, such as an accountant or lawyer, when needed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect people's rights and safety.
• A new owner, if the business is ever sold or reorganised, under the same protections.
• Anyone else, only with your agreement.

7. Where it is stored

We are based in Ontario, Canada. The companies above may store and process information in other countries, including the United States, where the law may differ from Canada's.

8. How we protect it

Our database can only be read by the site's own server, and access to our accounts is limited to us. No method is completely secure, so we can't promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. How long we keep it

• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only your email address and the date you left, so we never email you again by mistake.
• Messages and scorecard results: deleted two years after our last contact, unless you become a client.
• Clients: records are kept for six years, because Canadian tax rules require it.

10. Emails and your consent

We follow Canada's anti-spam law. We only send guides and tips if you ticked the box or subscribed. Every one of those emails lets you unsubscribe, and you can also reply with the word unsubscribe.

11. Your rights and choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Email lydie@aireadyteams.co and we'll reply within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, to protect your information.

12. Children

This site is for business leaders and isn't meant for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, email lydie@aireadyteams.co and we'll delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
